GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • What types of payment do you accept?

Payments can be done by Twint, cash or bank transfer.

  • Cancellations

I understand that circumstances can change, and you may need to cancel or reschedule your photography session. I kindly request that you provide me with a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests. This allows me to make the necessary adjustments to my schedule and offer the vacated session slot to other clients. Please contact me directly via phone or email to notify me of your cancellation or request to reschedule. I will confirm the cancellation or discuss alternative options with you.

  • Where will the sessions be held?

The Sessions will be held at my home studio in Hauterive Neuchatel.

  • Do you provide props?

Yes, I have some lovely bespoke accessories, outfits, and blankets that I will use during your session. I maintain strict hygiene standards by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all clothes and accessories before each use. This includes washing, disinfecting, and treating them to ensure they are fresh, clean, and ready for your session.

  • How long after the photoshoot I will see my images?

For every moment spent pressing the shutter on our cameras, hundreds more are spent behind the scenes editing your imagery to natural perfection. Each image that you choose will be lovingly worked on to bring out the best of the image and hide the elements that distract from your wonderful story. During busy periods this can between 2-4 weeks, I will advise you at your session.

FOR NEWBORN SESSION

  • What age range does newborn photography cover?

The key to having a successful newborn photo shoot and achieving those “sleepy, curled up poses" is to have me photograph your newborn within the first 14 days of life. Newborns tend to sleep less and are difficult to “curl up" and pose once they reach the 14-day mark. Days 5 - 10 are the most ideal time to photograph your newborn.

  • How far in advance should I schedule my newborn photo session?

I would recommend that you book your newborn photography session around your 20-week scan. The first step is to contact me to check that I have availability around your due date. If your baby has already arrived, please still get in touch as I may have space available last minute.

  • Do I need to bring in dresses to use during the session?

I have a lot of custom-made accessories and clothes for newborn photography to use during the sessions. If there is some specific that you would like to include, please feel free to bring.

  • Can parents and siblings be photographed with the baby?

Of course! I love to capture intimate portraits of new mums and dads with their newborn babies. Siblings are welcome to the studio however you might want to arrange a family member to take your older children away after they have had their photographs taken. As newborn sessions can last 3-4 hours this can be boring for toddlers to sit through.

  • What should I bring?

If you can, bring a pacifier with you. Please bring all the necessities for feeding, changing etc. During your session you will have plenty of time for feeding and changing as I will not rush you or your baby. A belly full of milk and a warm room usually helps the baby settle so that I can pose them.

  • What if my baby doesn't settle?

There is no guarantee on any outcome as babies are unpredictable and cannot be forced to perform! Every effort will be made to provide you the perfect images. I provide a session guide to help prepare you and your baby to get the perfect pictures. I have many techniques to sooth and settle your baby.

MATERNITY SESSION:

  • When should I book my Maternity Photoshoot session?

For maternity photography sessions you should book at least 6 weeks in advance. If you have only just found me and would like to book, then please get in touch as I occasionally have last minute availability. For bump and baby sessions (maternity & newborn) I recommend booking just after your 20-week scan.

  • When is the best time for a Maternity Photoshoot?

This session should happen, ideally, between weeks 28 & 33 of your pregnancy. At this stage your bump is beautifully round, and you won’t be feeling too tired. But don’t worry if you’ve missed this mark, we can photograph your bump right up until the moment before you pop – there are no hard and fast rules!

  • Do you provide outfits to wear for the session?

I have a selection of dresses and materials which can be used during a maternity photoshoot, and you are welcome to bring any clothing or accessories with you. Floaty dresses and pastel, white or neutral shades are recommended when choosing outfits to bring with you. If you have a particular image in mind, I will work with you to get the best out of your photoshoot.

  • I don’t feel comfortable being nude. Do I have to take my clothes off?

Not at all this is a personal choice. I want you to have the best experience at your pregnancy photography photoshoot and this includes being comfortable.

SMASH THE CAKE SESSION

  • My baby has allergies, can you do dairy free cakes?

If you let me know at the time of booking, I can notify the cake provider and a diary free cake can be made for you.

  • When should I book my cake smash session?

As the cakes are custom made, I require a few weeks notice for a cake smash. It is best to book as soon as possible.

  • What if my baby is uncooperative on the day?

All sessions are baby led as children cannot be forced to perform. I try to create fun experience for baby and parents, I want you to leave cake smashes happy. I try to only book one customer per day so should things go wrong there is no pressure.

  • What should my baby wear?

I have a range of photography cake smash outfits for children to wear specifically for a cake smash but if you have something particular in mind, please feel free to bring.

  • What should I bring?

I recommend bringing extra outfit, your child’s favourite toy, some snacks.

FAMILY SESSION

  • What should we wear?

In my experience as a family photographer, having similar tones works best and when you book your session, I will send you some helpful advice on what to wear

  • Can we do an outfit change?

Yes. Please feel free to bring along a second outfit with you. I recommend only one outfit change, especially with younger children.
